A few of the G.E.S current social responsibilities include assisting a black University student to further his studies, supporting two black school children as well as assisting two black disabled learners.

G.E.S also supports Umdhloti Engineering in growing their business through technical skills transfer and by appointing Umdhloti Engineering as its installation, manufacturing and maintenance partner.
